Five-Bedroom Villa — Large Type A + Garden Suite
A family residence designed to give every member of the family a space that feels distinctly their own. A disciplined framework of linear ceilings, full-height joinery and precisely aligned stone surfaces is softened by curved furniture, fluid forms and sculptural lighting. Ivory stone, warm timber and tactile neutrals establish a calm foundation, while mineral-green accents introduce freshness and identity. The result is a home that feels sophisticated for the adults, imaginative for the children and effortless for the family to live in together.
The process
We began by considering how the scale of the villa could feel open and impressive without compromising intimacy.
The kitchen, dining and living areas were composed as one continuous social setting. Full-height cabinetry allows the kitchen to read as part of the architecture, while the layered stone island and integrated breakfast counter create a natural transition towards the dining area. Curved seating, custom-shaped rugs and sculptural lighting define each zone without introducing physical divisions.
Throughout the shared spaces, green marble is used as a recurring material signature; appearing through feature panels, furniture details and the translucent powder-room basin. Integrated shelving, concealed lighting and expansive glazing introduce depth, while garden views soften the interior and strengthen its connection to the landscape.
The children’s bedroom was imagined as architecture at a smaller scale. House-shaped wall panels, a bespoke bunk structure, illuminated steps, a slide and climbing wall create a world for sleeping, learning and play. Integrated storage and a dedicated study area ensure the room remains functional as the child grows.
What emerged is not a conventional luxury villa, but a carefully choreographed family home; precise in its architecture, expressive in its details and designed to make everyday life feel considered.
